Which is the better option when you have £110k to spend on a car?

I don't really know what to do.

OPTION A - Do I spend all £110k on a supercar (eg - Corvette ZR1 @ £106,999)

OPTION B - Or, do I get something with similar stats (eg - Evo FQ400) and a Lotus or similar for nice days on a country road.

OPTION C - Or do I get something like a BMW M5/Audi RS6 and the Lotus. Which will give me comfort and performance.

Which do I do as I am confused?
The Corvette was an example. I might end up with Aston V8 Vantage, Audi R8, 911 Turbo, SL63 etc etc

In my humble opinion:

The ZR1 is, pound (sterling) for pound, the world's best "supercar" value. The simple fact of the matter is that once you've entered such rarified air, the most appreciable differences are likely to vary in accordance to personal taste and preference rather than additional bhp, torque, or cornering g's. In addition to its unrivaled value proposition, the ZR1's clearest and most indisputable benefit is its practicality as a "daily driver". It can meet BOTH your desire to best the Stig AND zip your way through the B roads with similar aplomb. You needn't even remove your briefcase, as you can drive your ZR1 to your office directly thereafter. It's clearly the best "supercar" to OWN.

OPTION B includes some terrific choices, but the "baggage" that comes with owning an Evo or Lotus often outweighs the pleasure of the relatively limited opportunities you might have to enjoy them at their best. Very few could own JUST an Evo or Lotus, as these are performance vehicles not designed with a great practicality in mind.

OPTION C certainly includes some examples of automotive art that include both excellent performance and driving dynamics alongside sumptuous creature comforts. Even so, neither provides anything approaching the ZR1's "supercar" performance; and the performance gap between them and the ZR1 far outweighs their considerable additional luxury. If you plan to bring your family with you, your choice may be made for you; but if it's just you (and another), do you really need heated and cooled rear seats anyway?

If your needs do include the ability to transport more than two, might I also suggest adding the Cadillac CTS-V to your list? Like the ZR1, the CTS-V provides Nurburgring-proven performance in an unrivaled value proposition. With a 190-plus mph top speed, it can outrun both the Audi and M5 with handling that's every bit as good as its power.

The ONLY Achilles heel of either the ZR1 or CTS-V is the plight common to all GM vehicles. Even with an unlimited budget and access to the most exotic materials known to man, GM would find a way to cobble them together into an interior that looks and feels less than the sum of its parts. GM has clearly demonstrated the competency of its engineering capital, but it would certainly benefit from an afternoon touring VW Wolfsburg to see first-hand how VW makes an interior that feels both robust and refined from the most pedestrian plastics and fabrics.

If your vehicle budget accommodates £110k, I'd also like to present an OPTION D. Adopt or marry me.
