my battery has gone in my audi a4,the doors r locked and i cant get into it!anybody know what i can do?please!?

My audi a4 has been off the road for a while and the mechanic came over to have a look at it yesterday ( fanbelt) , when i realised the car had been locked and the battery was dead, now i cant unlock the car = cant open bonnet = cant change/charge the battery. Can somebody please help with what i could do?

your key pulls apart and there is an old fashioned key inside it.

on the drivers door handle the is a small removable plate and under that an old fashioned keyhole.(may be on the Passenger side or under the handle depending what country and mark of Model you have.
